Residents aged 45 and over and businesses who are looking to support their 45+ workforce are invited to a free Midlife Work Review event in Bath on April 2.

The event will be hosted by the Employment & Skills Pod at Bath & North East Somerset Council and will feature a range of support including how to develop your career, how to upskill your workforce, financial advice and networking opportunities.

The Midlife Work Review will take place at the Apex City of Bath Hotel on Wednesday, April 2 from 10am-3pm. Residents and exhibitors wishing to attend can register for free tickets on Eventbrite.

Councillor Paul Roper, cabinet member for Economic and Cultural Sustainable Development, said: “Don't miss out on this unique experience to connect with like-minded individuals and embrace the possibilities that lie ahead for you or your business. Employers will receive guidance and tools on how to support, upskill, and retain their workforce, while individuals will be able to get advice on reviewing their finances, career, health and wellbeing.

“Drop in for a free tea or coffee and hear from expert speakers, take part in engaging workshops and connect with a marketplace of relevant organisations to help you plan your next stage of work and life.”

Exhibitors registering for the event will be offered two free tickets per organisation, lunch, and tea and coffee.

The Employment & Skills Pod is delivered by Bath & North East Somerset Council in partnership with Skills Connect and is funded and managed by the West of England Combined Authority.
