An update on green projects happening in and around Keynsham will be presented to residents at the next Area Forum meeting on September 28.
The meeting is a chance for the community to hear about and discuss current schemes including Chew Valley Reconnected, which extends from the northern slopes of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to Keynsham in the north east and Litton in the south east.
There will also be the regular update from the Police and a chance for people to raise any concerns they may have, as well as a Community Showcase from Keynsham Town Community Radio.
The meeting takes place on Thursday, September 28 at 6pm at Keynsham Community Space, Market Walk, BS31 1FS.
The meeting is also the AGM of the Forum with the Chair and Vice Chair, Alan Hale and Adrian Inker, volunteering to stand for another year. The AGM Report for 2022/203 is available to read online.
Councillor Kevin Guy, Leader of Bath & North East Somerset Council, said: “The Keynsham Area Forum is a great chance for the community to get together and discuss public services in the area. We will be focussing on the Chew Valley Reconnected project which aims to address impacts of climate change in the local area and improve wildlife, water and wellbeing – please do come along to find out more.”

These meetings are an important chance for residents to ask questions about what’s happening in the Keynsham area and hear updates on current projects, so I hope to welcome many of you there.”
