Residents in Bath are being invited to hear more about local transport improvements and proposed planning policy changes at the next meeting of their Connecting Communities Forum.
The second meeting of the newly formed Bath Area Forum will be held on Wednesday 8 September on Zoom.
During the meeting Bath and North East Somerset Council’s planning team will discuss upcoming consultations for the Local Plan Partial Update and Supplementary Planning Document and the West of England Combined Authority (WECA) will talk about the A4 Bristol to Bath Corridor project that aims to improve travel between the two cities.
Councillor Kevin Guy, Leader of Bath & North East Somerset Council said: “I was delighted to see so many Bath residents join us for our inaugural Bath Area Forum meeting. The Forums are a fantastic way to find out what’s happening in your community and have your say on a range of important issues.”
The Bath Area Forum, which is open to all residents, is supported by Bath & North East Somerset Council and brings together public services, local organisations and residents to improve local engagement, encourage people to talk to each other and share their skills and ideas.
To join the Zoom meeting please register in advance.
You can watch the Area Forum live, or at a later time, on the council’s YouTube channel
The forum is one of five within Bath and North East Somerset. The others are Bath Area Forum, Chew Valley Area Forum, Bathavon Forum and Somer Valley Forum. You can find more information and meeting dates on the council website.
