Communities across Bath and North East Somerset will come together this November to remember and pay tribute to those who have served and sacrificed for their country.
Remembrance events will take place across the district, offering residents an opportunity to gather with their local communities, reflect and pay their respects.
Councillor Shaun Stephenson-McGall, Chair of Bath & North East Somerset Council, said: “Remembrance is a time for people of all generations to come together and honour the courage, service and sacrifice of those who have served our country. I encourage residents across B&NES to join your local community, take a moment to reflect and pay tribute to all those who have given so much.
“The council is committed to ensuring our Armed Forces community and their families are treated fairly and supported. Remembrance is also an opportunity to show support by donating to charities that work year-round to improve the lives of serving members of the Armed Forces, veterans and their families.”
The Community Wellbeing Hub acts as a single point of access for residents, including members of the Armed Forces Community, providing support with employment and skills, housing, debt advice, health and wellbeing, and other areas of need.
