Bath and North East Somerset Council leader, Councillor Kevin Guy, this evening congratulated Bath RFC for their historic win – a dramatic 23–22 victory over Leicester Tigers to be crowned the 2024/25 Gallagher Premiership champions.
Councillor Guy said: “What a fantastic season for Bath Rugby, culminating in winning the Premiership today at Twickenham. On behalf of the council and the city, I’m sending all our congratulations to the players, the club and all their loyal fans. We hope they enjoy their weekend of celebration culminating in a trophy parade through the city tomorrow afternoon. “
